CAR PARKING

Resident parking

  • The speed limit is strictly 5 kilometres per hour (5kph)

  • The resident’s car park is located in the basement, accessible via your fob

  • Each lot is allocated 1 to 4 designated parking spaces

  • You MUST park only in your assigned space and your vehicle must remain fully within the marked lines

 Important ... 

  • NO modifications (e.g. shelving, storage units) are allowed in your car space without Body Corporate written approval

  • You CANNOT enclose your car space – this is prohibited by law due to fire safety, airflow and pest control requirements

  • You are responsible for keeping your car space clean, including removing oil stains

  • Refer to the BY-LAWS for full details

  • Please take extra care on the ramp, near pedestrian walkways and when turning into the basement

Visitor parking

  • Located on the northern side of the building

  • Accessed via the video intercom system at the gate

  • Reserved for visitors and guests only

  • Residents may NOT park here – breaches may result in the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense

  • Vehicles parked illegally may be towed without notice at the owner’s expense

  • Overnight visitors must be registered with the Building Manager

  • Extended stays by visitors and guests require prior approval with the Building Manager

Street parking

In front of the Macleay Tower & Villa building

Elsewhere on the street (metered)

  • Monday – Friday: 8am – 5:30pm (30-minute limit)

  • Saturday: 8am – 12pm (30-minute limit)

  • Monday – Friday: 8am – 5pm (4-hour limit)

Council Parking Permits

​You may be eligible for a Brisbane City Council Parking Permit for designated on-street areas.

Renting a car park in the basement

If you have a spare car space or need one, use the basement noticeboard (in front of the tower lifts) to post or respond to listings.
